Optimist. Idea person. Collaborator. Musician. Good friend.
Brian began his advertising career with a small agency in the 90s in Hamilton, moving it to Burlington in 2000. In 2004 it became PLAY Advertising, the award-winning branding, digital and social agency located in Burlington today. Brian was a dreamer and an optimist always finding the good in people, whether it be his family, his co-workers, his clients or his friends. He had the unique ability to be both businessman and creative guy, with respected peers all throughout the Burlington and Hamilton areas. Brian’s clients enjoyed his strategic thinking and his enthusiasm. Although he had the title of President, he valued everyone he worked with as an equal and was humble to a fault. Along with running a busy advertising agency, he often gave back to his community, volunteering for multiple organizations. Anyone who had the good fortune to spend time with Brian understands this was something that truly gave him joy. Brian had an uncanny ability to help other people be their best. It really was his specialty. He was a gentleman in every sense of the word, always impeccably dressed and filled with energy for the next new project. Sadly, Brian lost his fight with cancer in January 2017, leaving behind a group of clients and colleagues that will cherish his memory, and continue his legacy as both an outstanding leader and a phenomenal role model.
